Next, we will schedule your initial intake session. Here we will. go over your history, needs, concerns and develop a plan for services.
Once your intake is complete, we will begin your sessions with the modalities that fit best for you a your healing journey!

Therapeutic Modalities
Therapeutic modalities are the different approaches, methods, or frameworks that therapists use to help clients understand themselves, address challenges, and work toward emotional, behavioral, or relational change. Each modality is based on a specific theory about how people heal and grow, and it guides the techniques and interventions used in therapy sessions.
Examples of therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), sex therapy, and premarital counseling, and More. Therapists often integrate multiple modalities to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, goals, and experiences.
Some modalities I use:
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-supported therapy that helps people heal from distressing or traumatic experiences. Instead of focusing only on talking through the past, EMDR helps the brain reprocess memories that feel “stuck,” so they become less intense and disruptive over time.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a compassionate, evidence-based therapy that helps individuals better understand their inner world. IFS views the mind as made up of different “parts,” each with its own feelings, roles, and intentions. Rather than judging or trying to eliminate these parts, IFS focuses on building curiosity, understanding, and self-leadership.
Sex therapy is a specialized form of counseling that helps individuals and couples address concerns related to intimacy, connection, and sexual well-being in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space. Rather than focusing on physical techniques, sex therapy explores the emotional, relational, psychological, and cultural factors that influence sexual experiences. Common topics include communication, desire differences, anxiety, past experiences, body image, identity, and the impact of stress or life transitions on intimacy.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach that focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT helps individuals identify unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors that may be contributing to distress, and develop healthier, more effective ways of coping. Through practical tools and structured strategies, clients learn how to challenge negative beliefs, build emotional awareness, and make meaningful changes in their daily lives.
